As part of the construction of the new B3 Unit in the Thermal Power Plant “Kostolac B” – TEKO B3, Goša Montaža is executing the works on the construction of the settling oil storage tank – Heavy Oil Tank R3000 – as a partner of the Chinese company CMEC – China Machinery Engineering Corporation, Branch Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
The scope of work performed by Goša Montaža is as follows: procurement of steel structure materials and mechanical equipment, workshop drawing elaboration, erection of the steel structure and all associated equipment on the construction site, including corrosion protection, thermal insulation, and all necessary inspections.
The Heavy Oil Tank R300 has a nominal capacity of 3000m3 and the height of the tank is 15m. The total weight of the steel structure, including the accompanying installations, is 110t.
All works are carried out according to the Investor’s requirements, in accordance with the legal regulations of the Republic of Serbia and the needs of TEKO B3.

Goša Montaža takes part in the project Đerdap 2 – Upgrade of Iron Gate 2 Navigation Lock as a partner of DSD NOELL GmbH. Upgrade of Iron Gate 2 Navigation project aims at improving the navigation on the Danube, which is one of the most important waterways in Europe.
Iron Gate 2 Navigation Lock in Đerdap 2, due to outdated equipment and damaged structure needs an update and rehabilitation. The works in Goša Monaža scope include the following: preparation of design, disassembly, manufacturing and assembly of 3 new cranes with a capacity of 40 t, lower head service mitre gate, upper head service gate, safety net and trash racks as well as upgrade of discharge and drainage system. Besides stated, Goša Montaža will perform the works on drainage and erection of the new upper head service gate which is delivered by DSD NOELL GmbH.
The preparation of design will start immediately, while the works on the site should start in October 2022, with the dismantling of one of the three cranes and the installation of one new crane. The estimated duration of the works is until March 2024.
This project will be financed by European Investment Bank (EIB) loan (60 % ) while financing of other 40 % is secured through CEF Fond (Connecting Europe Facility Fund).
In the revitalization of Unit B1 of TENT B, Goša Montaža is performing erection works on the installation of a new RA stem pipelines, superheater P4, which require the highest quality of welding works, separators, as well as works on installation of combustion grate and flue gas duct expansion joints.
We are proud to highlight that we are part of the largest revitalization project of the Thermal Power Unit in Serbia, which, regarding scope of works, exceeds all former overhaul since the Unit B1 was put into operation. The scope of works undertaken by Goša Montaža is considered to be the highest responsible segment of works on the most significant part of the boiler equipment.
On the revitalization project up to 200 production workers were deployed, all of them with dedication and commitment contribute each and every day to the successful finalization of the Unit B1 Overhaul Project before the set deadline, aware of the fact that each day counts, and each day saved means a lot for the stability of the power supply system of the entire Serbia.
We have been assigned an important role in the project of constructing a FGD Plant in TENT A, where we have been entrusted with mechanical work on the new plant.
At TENT A we are progressing with the works on FGD Plant. The expert teams of Goša Montaža are currently engaged in the erection of the absorber, BAF erection, as well as the spray header pipeline erection.
The importance of this project is reflected in the significant reduction of SO2 emissions in accordance with environmental regulations as well as in compliance with the application of standards aiming at environmental protection.
