WELDING

Welded constructions are part of the production program. Welding operations are performed by professionally trained welders certified according to ISO 9606-2; 9606-4; under the supervision of educated personnel according to world standards and rules of the International Institute of Welding (IIW).

Our welding personnel has vast experience. IWE/IWT engineers, via training centres, perform the training, additional training, certify and lead welders by providing educational training for new, basic and additional materials as well as new welding devices. We also perform welding-related processes such as surfacing, cutting and grooving.

The welding technologies we use are qualified and approved according to EN ISO 15614-1.

We are certified for fusion welding which occurs by melting and hardening of the welds by using:

  • E/SMAW/111
  • MAG(GMAW)/135
  • MAG(GMAW)/136
  • MIG/131
  • TIG(GTAW)/141
  • gasno/311

We are certified by the Accredited Certification Body TÜV SUD Industrie Service and hold the following certificates:

  • DIN EN ISO 3834-2 – Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials
  • EN 1090-2 – Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures – Technical requirements for steel structures

We especially emphasize the experience in the manufacturing and installation of pressure equipment in accordance with the PE Directive 2014/68 / EU and according to the standards

  • EN 13445-4 – unfired pressure vessels,
  • EN 13480-4 – metallic industrial piping – fabrication and installation,
  • EN 12952-5 – workmanship and construction of pressure parts of the boiler

Within the QA/QC Department we are trained and certified according to EN ISO 9712 for welded joints by Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

We hold international certificates for testing steel structures as well as for testing welded joints of pressure equipment (testing by visual method, magnetic particles, penetrants and ultrasound).
